There's something special about a meal at a bistro table. Maybe it’s the fact that we’re in Indiana and all dreaming of a more European lifestyle. Maybe being shoulder to shoulder with other diners fills a need for human connection that we’re all lacking. Regardless, I (Wyatt) have developed a deep infatuation with bistro tables over the years. It’s the reason we have the red set outside of the shop right now!
For those that share a love of bistros there's no better option in this city than Petite Chou. Nestled along the canal in Broad Ripple, the patio is where you want to eat— a network of tightly packed tables and chairs that are an ideal place for your double espresso and newspaper for breakfast or wine and mussels before dinner.
The whole menu is worth ordering, but it would truly be a mistake not to order the Duck Fat Pommes Frites and a glass of champagne.
